Yarra Valley Grammar School, established in 1966, is an independent, co-educational grammar school, located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, overlooking the Dandenong Ranges and caring for and educating over 1,200 students, from Early Learning through to Year 12.
An integral part of the School is the busy Music Program, where students are able to participate in individual and group instrument and choral lessons, as well as a multitude of group performance activities.

We are seeking a well organised and creative individual, with interests in a broad range of musical activities, to provide day to day operational assistance to the Director of Music and the broader Music faculty. Experience with Music School Management software would be very well regarded.

Duties will include:
• Being first point of contact for the Music Department for students, staff and parents
• Managing a large library of music resources, including musical instruments and sheet music
• Administering sessional teachers’ time sheets and payments
• Administering external charges to parents for music lessons and consumables
• Preparing music concert programs
• Managing student attendance at music lessons
• Managing ticketing for concerts and events

Reporting to the Director of Music, this is a varied and challenging role in a busy and creative area of the School.

The role is full time and salary commensurate with experience will be offered. The successful applicant must have a current Working with Children Check.
